Antibody Diversity

B-lymphocytes are capable of making many types of antibodies - approximately 18 billion different molecules. The diversity is generated from a relatively small number of genes by combining them in different ways.

Pull the drop-down menu by clicking of the combo button to the right of "choose one". Select any type and view the description. To view another type you can repeat the same. To see one after the other, first choose one type then press the down and arrows on the key board and change to other types without using your mouse.
